The Real Truth About Sarah Palin — Ouch!

Truth about Sarah Palin

Re-Posted from Rollan Ross on FB.

Very interesting facts on two very different ladies. Sarah Palin
Whether you’re a Democrat, Independent, or Republican….the second half of this email should make all of us very sick,
send this on …..especially the second half……

READ TO THE VERY END! VERY ENLIGHTENING!!! AND VERY DISTURBING!!!
By Dewie Whetsell, Alaskan Fisherman.

As posted in comments on Greta’s article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.
The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska . I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here’s the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It’s not about persona, style, rhetoric, it’s about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I’m about to mention here.

1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor’s office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican’s “Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, “la la la la” (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.

2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called “ACES.” Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, “don’t let the door hit you in the stern on your way out.” They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.

3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor’s office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as “pork.” She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the “when-hell-freezes-over” stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we’ll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor’s jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor’s cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning – I imagine – that she’s packing heat herself). I’m still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.

4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed “gosh and golly” mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn’t impress you, then you’re trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.

5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn’t start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.

6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that’s just a cover-up. I’m still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. I won’t be holding my breath.

By the way, she was content to return to Alaska after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn’t let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.

You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the Democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her. I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers, and bitter ex-presidents’ wives.

So “You go, Girl.” I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.
I rest my case. Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

Excellent article. Those of us who knew of Sarah palin before she was picked by John McCain know that she was one of the most accomplished Governors in the country. That is why many people talked about her as a rising star. I even remember some pundists mentioning if Romney won the nomination how Palin would make a powerful ticket with 2 accomplished governors. Unfurtanetly, the McCain campaing never made an effeort to tell the story to the American people of these ladies accomplishements. And the impression left on many was that she was just picked because she was a woman and McCain wanted the anti-Obama, pro-Hillary women vote. And that might indeed have been the reason McCain eneded up going for her, but that does not take away from how impressive Sarah Palin was. There are other good candidates out there, and people cam make up their own mind about who they want to support as president, but they should be aware of the very impressive record of Governor Sarah Palin.

Regarding #1. Many, many, many governors have accomplished this. Also, the May release of her administrations emails is going to lead to indictments.

#2. I do NOT agree with 'spread the wealth' and socialist practices. Government intervention and over-reach at its best.

    #3. A little revisionist, don't ya think?

    #4, #5, & #6. I need to learn more about this.

Finally, regarding your audit of the First Lady's 'Servant List'. You have bit into some urban legends (see: not true) and if you actually look into facts you will find that this First Lady's related expenses are NOT the most incurred by a First Lady.

But then again, this is the Tea Party, right? Why let facts and truth get in the way of a good stirring the crazies story?

It has been said that the good have always been hated by the bad. The more wholesome, liberty-loving and pro-american the personality, the more the anties of the left will despise them. Something about such types compells them to tear down whatever contrasts and refutes what dwells within.

@areaman step away from the kool-aid and indulge in some critical thinking instead of plain ol' criticism. Whether you realize it or not, you are spewing the venomous progressive talking points on Palin. If you don't care for her as a candidate that's your perogative, just leave the venom out of it.

The way Sara Palin has been treated by the press is criminal, she must obviously have something good and on the ball. It's amazing to me how the general public falls for the State Controled news media. You go girl.

As a watcher of events in the US from across the pond in GB I can't help but compare the press treatment of Mrs Palin to that of ex President Regan, in particular the British press. They were both accomplished governors who knew instinctively what was the right thing to do. They were both willing to tackle self interest factions, Ronald Regan fired all the US air traffic controllers in exasperation after their umpteenth strike caused mayhem and they both received vitriol from the Liberal for their obvious success and were and are often described as unintelligent idiots, country bumpkins and in the anti US BBC and London based newspapers, as right wing extremists.
As it turned out, Ronald Regan was one of the best Presidents you ever had and he won the cold war without firing a shot simply because he got on well with and was trusted by, the Presidents of the USSR. I believe you will find that Mrs Palin is in the same mould as President Regan and I'm sure she would be a great success and as a result be even more hated by the Liberal Left Democrats in the US who's interests would become immediately under threat and in GB the BBC in London, who despise everything American, especially your belief in personal success, religion and patriotism and your freedom.

While Governor of Arizona in the late 1970s, Bruce Babbitt sold the gubernatorial mansion, refused to ride in the state limo– actually taking the bus back and forth to work, did all the grocery shopping for the family, as Wife Hattie was usually in court for long hours, ate lunch at the local Jack in the Box with other state employees, and was on a first-name basis with the majority of them.
Heard of only one disagreement with an official while he was in office, and that was with his younger brother, Paul, when Paul was the Mayor of Flagstaff, over a highway/railroad overpass into Flagstaff that Paul wanted and Bruce didn't! Heard from my own boys that it was a great brother fight, neither won, nor did either give up–most likely because either dad or mom sailed in and stopped them! Later on, after Bruce left office, Flagstaff did get the overpass!

Very funny. Palin went back to Alaska after the election and the damn media kept on bothering her. This didn't happen as she went back to Alaska and started a reality show and soon after a reporter for FOX. Palin is her own worst enemy; putting her unprepared ass in the spotlight and allowing her pregnant daughter be the poster girl for "not using birth control". Not the media's fault that she's an attention whore! I do feel bad for her kids and they will end up in counselling or on the pole.

The bottom line is: Palin achieved a great deal as Governor, far more than most governors, and in the process, exemplified integrity, honesty, ethics, morals, and a commitment to the best interests of the taxpayers for which she SERVED (there's a word you'll never find in a liberal's lexicon–except when speaking in private about their constituents).

Let's remove all of the stuff about Michelle Obama–just for the sake of argument. You are still left dealing with Palin's excellent track record. Put that next to any other candidate–presidential or vice presidential–in the last 40 years. Her record stands up well. Her demonstrated IQ stands up very well.

One of the things that Reagan and Eisenhower–the two greatest presidents of the 20th Century–did well was use their enemies' accusations of them being a "moron" and "idiot" to advance their agenda. Both Eisenhower and Reagan were masters of this. Play dumb. Get what you want (most of the time). In the process, both Eisenhower and Reagan led the Western world through THE TWO GREATEST periods of prosperity in world history where more people in all of world history LEFT POVERTY and ACHIEVE MATERIAL SELF-SUSTAINABILITY.

Palin did similar things for Alaska.

Why, then, do liberals hate these folks so much and denounce them–especially when these folks are achieving what liberals only claim to want to achieve ("end poverty")?

Simple. Because a true conservative's methods for achieving these things place God first, then the person next, and places the State under the feet of the people. To a liberal, this is "upside down" (hence their assertions of conservatives being "backwards" or "idiots"). A liberal is, by definition, anti-God and sees The State as "god" and as "supreme" from whence all rights and wealth emanates. Never mind that never in history has a government produced rights nor wealth for anyone other than those who controlled it.

In a word: the hate for people like Palin, Eisenhower and Reagan is really simply hate for God.

It has been said that the good have always been hated by the bad. As though there is just good and bad. Many "good" hate "bad" without all the information. The worse behavior I have experienced has been someone "good" doing something bad. Usually can tell bad up front. As well, all she was doing was her job, nothing special about it, and she did quit. Many did not hate her either. I just found that every time she opened her mouth, nothing came out that made sense. In a word: the hate for people like Palin, Eisenhower and Reagan is really simply hate for God. That is really twisted.

Sarah Palin is the real deal. That is why she is feared, ridiculed and maligned. The only thing mccain did right was choose her as a running mate and introduce her to america.
For people who praise diversity to constantly belittle someone for using colloquialisms is at the height of hypocrisy. It's OK for the prevaricator in chief to say "folks" but Palin can't say "you bet ya".

Sarah is a women of principle the unfortunate circumstance of her involvement with the resident senate RINO has had a devastating effect on her political ambitions….The truth be told …. it was John McCains campaign staff that torpedoed Sarah and the media finished her off … There is a place for Sarah in the body politic but the GOP needs to win in order to bring that about and with the number of A moral boneheads that vote out there she is a liability instead of an asset …. this is a very sad reality…

This is an inaccurate account of past first ladies. It is very easy to fact check this article, but I guess the writer was too busy trying to compare the governor of a state with less than a million people with the Office of the First Lady of the United States. Laura Bush, according to her Chief of Staff Anita McBride, had 24 to 26 staffers, at least 16 who had the term "first lady" in their job title, the same as Michelle Obama. Lady Bird Johnson and Betty Ford had 30. Jackie Kennedy had 40.

I read this, or something similar a few years ago, and dismissed it but looking back I see a lot more truth as BHO continues to destroy America. While I know that not all things are exactly correct and that human nature makes most of us refuse to believe we made such a huge mistake in re-electing Obama, we need to get past all that and start looking for a solution and maybe Sarah Palin is just that…I know Hillary has shown her true colors and believe it's time for her to retire; unless she's prosecuted, then she'd have no choice; but that's another matter. I believe Palin was wronged by her own party, the press and even John McCain and that it continues, but she goes on. McCain, who I used to respect, and would never discredit what he went through in Viet Nam has flip-flopped on so much that I doubt he even knows what he wants at this point, something I would have never suspected of him. However, in my opinion, McCain did more of an injustice to Palin then all the other faces combined. He took her as a running mate and basically told her to "sit down and don't talk" and couldn't even defend her when he knew that the press was twisting a situation, instead he did that "tongue in cheek" stuff and snickered along with the rest….I've always wondered what his real agenda was as he wasn't even able to win a debate, often having that "deer in the headlight" look…this must have been expensive for someone or some group…but we'll never know for sure. It's my hope that if Palin runs, she'll win come another election and as the BHO, "reign of stupidity" comes to a close for the second time and if America is still standing, at election time, you have to ask yourself exactly who do you trust with your own life and the life of your children and grandchildren in the future. If you want them to struggle through life with a dictator then by all means vote for another Democrat, as for me and mine, when/if the time comes, I'll vote for Palin and if by chance she don't run, then I will vote against any Democrat, no matter who runs…and I'm a registered Democrat, but that's going to change.

Lady Sarah is sorta like Maggie Thatcher and Sir Winston, the only two people in England with a pair ! The rest of the English(socalledmen), are mostly wimps. Spent 6 months living in London in the early 60s and for the life of me, I could not figure out how they ever raised an Army to fight in WWII, given the British males on the streets.

I would vote for Palin in a heartbeat, but never on a ticket with any , 'Democrat wearing Republican Clothes', like McCain or any of the other, "Career Politicians," in the RNC Camp. I might add, I'd vote for an, "Untrained Gorilla," before I'd ever vote for a Democrat ! We Americans (True Americans) will RUE the day we allow our Current Commissar in WASHDC, give away America's control of the Internet.

Sarah Palin "quit" because she could no longer effectively fulfill the duties of her office because of frivolous lawsuits (that she was required to respond to) started by her political enemies. Sarah Palin took the honorable way out and quashed all of these lawsuits by resigning her office.

We need Sarah for President. She could balance the deficit in a year if she was just buy stopping all this unnessary spending. Just look at the money the moochelle is using. Like right now spending in China. Just how many vacations do they get? Look at the money we could save by taking that blank check away from obama. BIllions of dollors. He wouldn't be able to buy votes or politicians. It would also keep a lot of our money going to our enimies. How can we get Sarah to run for President. She would go down in History as the best Pesident in the world. She is the only one that could get our Country back.

What a load of bull bisquit. Sarah built the 12 mile road to 'no-where'. You remember the bridge she stated she would not accept money for? Well, she built the bridge to it. It now goes to NO WHERE except the edge of the lake she didn't want the money for the bridge for. LOL Fired her cook? She charged Alaskans for making her families dinner and stated it was 'food eaten out'. When she became a Mayor her town owed no one nothing. When she left they were MILLIONS in debt for things that the residents say they didn't need. And what about the 'family values' she spouted off about so much. Her husband got in a fight with, and then dumped his business partner when he found out that the partner and Sarah were having an affair. Let's get real. This woman cannot even speak the English language without stumbling into another concept entirely. The "I QUIT" governor has no place in politics whatsoever.

A look at some first ladies and their staff sizes:

Laura Bush: Between 24 and 26 by end of President George W. Bush's term in 2009, according to Anita McBride, Mrs. Bush's chief of staff.

Lady Bird Johnson, whose signature issue was beautifying roadways, had a staff of 30, said Stacy A. Cordery, a history professor at Montmouth [sic] College in Illinois who studies first ladies.

Betty Ford had almost the same number.

Jacqueline Kennedy, who made renovating the White House her cause, had about 40 people on staff, Cordery said.

In a time where veterans who fought for the very right to live the lives a few of us do are living in the streets without adequate medical care, the economy tanked, (the list goes on), we see this kind of extravagance? At the tax payers expense? Shame on the entire administration!. NSA/IRS be damned!

Thank you for that well thought out article. You just reaffirmed all the reasons I love Sarah Palin. She's a bad ass and that is just what we need to fight the corruption in Washington that you somehow forgot to mention. We are coming for all you liberal shit heads in November. Beware.

The White House orders AG Eric Holder to "take down" Clive Bundy", the Nevada rancher and kill or coral his cow herd but turns around and allows this to happen behind the scenes in Washington, D.C. – http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2012/04/02/ob

Factcheck.org is a popular place to check the validity of data. But is Factcheck factual? Is Factcheck politically neutral? It turns out it's not.

Here's a little bit about what you didn't know about Factcheck:

FactCheck.org is funded by the Annenberg foundation.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FactCheck.org

Who is and who runs Annenberg?

    ■ Founding members of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge Board were: Susan Crown, vice president, Henry Crown Company; Patricia Graham, president, The Spencer Foundation, and former dean, Harvard Graduate School of Education; Stanley Ikenberry, president-emeritus, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Handy Lindsey, executive director, Field Foundation; Barack Obama; Arnold Weber, former president, Northwestern University, and president, Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago; and Wanda White, executive director, Community Workshop on Economic Development.

    Read that again; Barak Obama.

Now that's interesting, isn't it? I wonder how Barak Obama got wired into Annenberg? Could it be the ever so dependabe William "Bill" Ayres? But then didn't Annenberg say they this about Bill Ayers:
    ■ The Chicago Annenberg Challenge has no record of providing any salary for William Ayers.

( Really? How interesting. So let's look just a tad deeper into that)
    http://www.annenbergfoundation.org/news/chicago-a

The three co-authors of Chicago's winning Annenberg Challenge $49.2 million grant proposal were:[17][18]

William Ayers, associate professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago; co-director of the Small Schools Workshop; co-director of the Chicago Forum for School Change—an affiliate of the Coalition of Essential Schools;[19] chairman of the Alliance for Better Chicago Schools (ABCs) coalition;[20][21] former Chicago assistant deputy mayor for education (1989–1990);[21] brother of John Ayers, executive director (1994–2004) of Leadership for Quality Education (an affiliate of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago) and former associate director (1987–1994) of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago; son of Thomas Ayers, former president (1964–1980), chairman and CEO (1973–1980) of Commonwealth Edison and former vice president (1980) of the Chicago School Board
Looks like a lie by omission, doen't it? Ayres wasn't on the payroll but he did get a split of that $49,200,000. And it appears that at least some of that 49 MILLION went to Obama's re election group: ACORN.. You know, the same ones who were responsible for election fraud? Yep, Them.

That's a fairly impressive resume for Bill Ayres, but there's a lot more to add that Ayres and Obama didn't want the public to know about; http://www.conservapedia.com/William_Ayers

And remember when Obama said that Ayres was just a guy down the street, and that they didn't know each other that well, remember that? Hmmmmm

The founding Board of Directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge as announced in 1995 were:[38][39]

    Patricia Albjerg Graham
Barack Obama, civil rights attorney at Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland; lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School; member of the board of directors of the Joyce Foundation and the Woods Fund of Chicago; winner, Crain's Chicago Business 40 Under 40 award, 1993; former president of the Harvard Law Review (1990–1991); former executive director of the Developing Communities Project (June 1985–May 1988); current President of the United States[24][40][41][42]
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Annenberg_Ch

Now notice the names of the organizations mentioned above; The Woods Fund, the Joyce Foundation. Now look above under the bio of William Ayres and notice Commercial Club of Chicago. And then we come to the boards of education, which seems pretty innocuous until we fast forward to Common Core http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/12/0

Finally, regarding your audit of the First Lady's 'Servant List'. You have bit into some urban legends (see: not true) and if you actually look into facts you will find that this First Lady's related expenses are NOT the most incurred by a First Lady.
