Federal border agents working in Nogales will be featured on the Sunday, Sept. 11 episode of the National Geographic TV series “Border Wars.”
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the episode titled “Marijuana Airdrop” begins near Nogales, where CBP/Border Patrol agents dismantle an observation point used by smugglers in the remote desert, and then seize a vehicle attempting to carry weapons and nearly $800,000 back to the Mexican cartels.
