Is it a Fluke, Slut, or Plain Old Liberal Propaganda? Or maybe just a Lousy Script!

Rush Limbaugh Sandra Fluke(R)

Sandra Fluke has become the poster child for female contraception, but have women finally turned the corner.

In the old days the women were supposed to save their virtues for marriage. And even today in some cultures it may still be true. Remember the Virginia Slims commercial when it was alleged it was now ok for women to smoke in public. We have come a long way baby.

Now women are or soon will be taking over the world, thank God for that… Then men can just relax and enjoy life. The majority of folks going to college are women.

Back to contraceptives: Let’s be clear here this press conference held by Pelosi disguised as a committee meeting, was just some liberal propaganda. Let’s look at what Sandra a third year law student actually said. She said in order for her to have sex for three years while she was at law school she would need to spend over $3,000. Sandra would have to work all summer to pay for her right to have sex!

The right to have sex is not in the constitution and if there was a right would it refer to both sexes?

Poor Rush got in trouble because he called her a slut. Let’s be fair if she has sex three times a day that would not make her a slut.

By definition:  “A slut is a person of any gender who has the courage to lead life according to the radical proposition that sex is nice and pleasure is good for you. A slut is a person who has taken control of their sexuality and has sex with whomever they choose, regardless of religious or social pressures or conventions to conform to a straight-laced monogamous lifestyle committed to one partner for life.”

So this is an atheist’s or a secular dream.  And nothing in the definition refers to numbers or the sharing of STDS. So if you had sex with 2 different people in a relatively short period of time you are a slut whether you are a male or  a female. Since Rush does not know Sandra’s disposition it would be unfair to make that determination, Hopefully the liberal media will ascertain that history and let the public become aware of such a treat.

Let’s really look at whether Sandra is a fluke. First off she is a liberal and she is on some sort of a scholarship program tying here academia and the beginning of her career to Public Interest. Public Interest appears to be enhanced liberal ideas coming from the public sector. So you the taxpayer have paid for Sandra’s Law School education. It is only fair that you pay for her contraception!

Sandra is a member of Public Interest Law Scholars (PILS). There are 21 members in Sandra’s 2012 class. Only three are males. So much for equal rights.

If you take the time to read Fluke’s transcript, she really was addressing the lack of sensitivity that the law school had in providing cheap healthcare that did not provide FREE contraceptives to ladies that need it for medical reasons only. These folks are a bunch of liberals, why not picket the dean’s office until they agreed to offer FREE contraceptives. By Free we mean the same premiums but with Free Contraceptives.

But if you read the transcript carefully, 30 year old Sandra was actually addressing the issue of all women particularly Catholics. I am guessing that Sandra may not be a Catholic.

By the way the Catholics should stay out of this issue. Let them go take care of the sick and the poor. Offer the free contraceptives and allow the recipients to decide whether they want to use contraception or not. It has never been a sin to use contraceptives, you are getting in the way of the real issue.

How much is it going to cost everyone in insurance premiums in order to provide FREE contraceptives to Sandra and her friends? Why don’t you ask the insurance company. If Sandra wants to spend 1000 bucks on contraception a year, then everyone’s premiums will have to go up at least 300- 800 bucks even if you already have the coverage!

And Contraception is not preventative healthcare. Pregnancy is not a disease so it is not covered by Obamacare. If they focused on STD’s and all other communicable disease… then you have a different issue and the pill does not offer any protection.  If we have all these sluts out there offering themselves to every Tom, Dick and Harry then condoms and  super strength bug spray may be something of value. Maybe a trap door that shuts closed if the woman becomes overwhelmed by drugs or alcohol would be in order.

From Fluke: “One told us about how embarrassed and just powerless she felt when she was standing at the pharmacy counter and learned for the first time that contraception was not covered on her insurance and she had to turn and walk away because she couldn’t afford that prescription. Women like her have no choice but to go without contraception.”

This is not a Fluke, but Sandra is talking about super educated females who don’t know what their insurance covers! This is propaganda 101. Could Sandra offer us some proof here. Or was this a once and done fluke. And women have no choice but to go without contraception? Wait a cotton picking minute; doesn’t the woman have a right to go without sex? Or does the Public Interest Law really apply to the right to have sex any time you want with whom ever you want. Then we are back to slutsville!

Another Flukism:  “And some might respond that contraception is accessible in lots of other ways. Unfortunately, that’s just not true.”

The federal government gives millions of dollars a year to Planned Parenthood, go to the nurse’s office at your university, they have contraceptives by the gross. But in all fairness if you can’t be responsible, don’t get in the game. But there is always an abortion… So what is the issue? Liberal women have been fighting for abortions for decades. Over 58 million souls wait in Limbo, isn’t that what it was all about?

Another Fluke: “When you let university administrators or other employers rather than women and their doctors dictate whose medical needs are legitimate and whose are not, women’s health takes a back seat to a bureaucracy focused on policing her body.”

It is starting to sound like Roe vs. Wade here. As a Dentist I think it would be kool to have the doctor make up any old thing to determine what the insurance should be. That would be just like congress deciding what their pay and benefits are. I don’t see anything wrong with that, do you? There would be no fraud and no abuse to the system. Do you think a 3rd year law student really wrote this speech?

This is starting to sound like a load… let’s see the proof!

“In 65% of the cases at our school, our female students were interrogated by insurance representatives and university medical staff about why they needed prescription and whether they were lying about their symptoms.

“For my friend and 20% of the women in her situation, she never got the insurance company to cover her prescription. Despite verifications of her illness from her doctor, her claim was denied repeatedly on the assumption that she really wanted birth control to prevent pregnancy. She’s gay. So clearly polycystic ovarian syndrome was a much more urgent concern than accidental pregnancy for her.”

These folks were interrogated or were they water boarded. I would tell the 20% to find new doctors. If you fill in the correct square on the insurance form the chances of getting paid are good. You mean there are no women deans at Georgetown to fight for these weak females?  All you need is good prescription coverage and a higher premium and you are covered. I betcha all those females in the administration have prescription coverage. Quit begging for the taxpayer to pay the bill, get a good old protest going. Take over the dean’s office. What are you afraid, he might black ball you from getting accepted by a great law firm. Show some initiative, I can see the signs now, no more sex without FREE contraceptives. Betcha you would get a bunch of donations.

Another story: “After months paying over $100 out-of-pocket, she just couldn’t afford her medication anymore, and she had to stop taking it.”  Birth control goes for about $10 to 90 dollars a month. Find a new doctor.  Tell him to use the word “generic”.

“A woman’s reproductive health care isn’t a necessity, isn’t a priority.” This is a fluke. I think Sandra and the other women may also want to convince the famous Georgetown University to find a new insurance company. If an employer does not buy from a reputable insurance company it is the employer’s fault. Maybe all the female law student’s should just get together and sue the school. But before you get too far along you better see if you can find an expert that can prove your classmate lost her ovary because she did not have FREE birth control pills. That may be a tough bridge to cross.

So the story looks a lot different if you look at the whole transcript. So what Sandra is saying is that the university hired a lousy insurance company because they are a catholic university. I think she may be wrong. I think they are culpable because they did not switch to a better insurance company after they were notified. Keep in mind liberals like you want the liberal government to control all healthcare. Do you recall the pain and anguish you felt when dealing with one stupid insurance company. Join the club. Imagine if it was controlled by your government. And there was only one insurance company. Do you see now why the Republicans want more than one insurance company to choose from? Competition can be healthy. A monopoly never works out too well, especially when it is political.

Sandra Fluke you and all the women have all the choice in the world. Go get your own insurance. I am sure your parents and relatives will help you pay for it for a lousy 3 years. They would still be proud of you!

So the issue seems to be Free contraceptives for underlying medical reasons and not for contraception. If you want prescription coverage you need to pay a higher premium. That’s a different issue and I am sure we all agree with you. And it was unfair that most media coverage did not include the last half of your transcript.

The problem is that the % of women that need the Pill for medical reasons are incredibly small.

10.5 million women use the Pill. And 1.5 million females use the pill for non-contraceptive reasons. Well you could be the dumbest person on the planet, but why would you want to make all contraceptives free because of 1.5 million females?  That Obama guy is a genius!

Oops, we have a problem Houston: If they are already taking the Pill for non-contraceptive reasons then the pills are being paid for by someone. So liberals like you and Obama want to screw with a national healthcare system because a couple of women can’t afford or figure out how to get the pill for non-contraceptive reasons. Then shame on you!

In closing there is another factor missing here. Most men are probably happy that females are more promiscuous and take full responsibility for pregnancy. But shouldn’t the male players pay into the contraceptive pot. I think they used to call that going Dutch.

So there is a terrible injustice here, brought about by the sloppy presentation of Sandra, and by the sloppy presentation by the media.  First problem is solved by getting the occupiers out of the park and to the Georgetown campus. I betcha in a week you will have prescription coverage for contraceptives for medical reasons. And gee willikers, with that problem solved who needs free contraceptives!

Unless you want to pay over $300 more in premiums for life so someone else can have sex, who needs free contraceptives!  Do you think sex should be a right? It is a privilege to find the right person to enjoy one of the three greatest bodily pleasures of life! My apologies to Sandra, I think she meant well, but she did not come across very well. She should have skipped the sex and got right down to the medical reasons for contraceptives. Hopefully she will do better with her law career and not listen to liberal wackos who used her. Better luck next time. If you see a person like Pelosi grinning at what you are saying, shut your mouth Sandra and head for the door!  It won’t end well. Imagine if Pelosi wasn’t a Catholic!
