THIS TEACHER ROCKS! Entire Class Fails when Obama’s Socialism Experiment Fails

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama’s socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan”.. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A…. (substituting grades for dollars – something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that. (Please pass this on) These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:

  1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
  2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
  3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
  4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!.
  5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

  1. This would be true if it were a level playing field, when the law makes it OK for big corps to buy the laws they want then the poor will never have a chance and the middle class will become the new poor. If the new tax code were to say invest in America or pay it in taxes we would have more good paying jobs than could be filled instead of all the money going to other countries.

    • government shouldn't be so powerful that its laws can affect people to the degree that companies would buy laws. But your right. I just watched the insurance industry purchase a law referred to as Obamacare. Biggest corporate payoff in history.

    • itll never be a "level playing field" its a market economy. if the field would have to be "leveled" everytime someone new came in the game, no one would play.

    • You make a good point and I agree with you. The root of the problem is “money in politics”. Those with money buy off our elected officials. To fix it,
      1. a taxpayer fund is set aside to buy advertising for candidates, equally divided, no exceptions
      2. outside contributions are illegal
      3. lobbying is illegal
      4. congress is paid on an incentive plan (running America like a profitable business with little to no debt)

    • An economy is the movement of money within a society. Taxes remove money from the economy. That is why socialist government rack up Dept and still fall short on their promises. The lower income are still dependent on the success of the upper class and corporations. Without their success and investment in growth, there is nothing for the lower class.

  2. I've heard this story before. When I heard it, it was about communism (which is not socialism) and it was long before Obama was even considered for president.

I don't like Obama but make sure your stories are true before you write them.

  3. Bull SHIT People who work Hard and work long Hrs should receive wages that provide a life that would
let them enjoy some the good thing in life , Obama CARE,a comfortable home, a good car, some vacation,
some money to send the kids to college. Yes "WE" can make this work and still have capitalism the American
way. WE need to raise the minimum Wages to reach this goal with inflation guard. If we are willing to work
together as Americans this can be done. The cost of living will increase for many us that true. If this does
not happen the rich will become richer and American will DIe,

    • ug….. I am poor ……thank God I live in the USA capitalism is the only answer. GET A job and quit whining you lazy socialist…there is plenty work out there …you just want to sit in some socialistic job that sucks off the hard working Americans . You have had it easy way to long and your bud obuma has destroyed this country.
Government has no money they just pint worthless paper ….Capitalism creates wealth ,,not government ..wake up obumians…we are doing the socialism also known as communist under the obamian plan

  4. This story is old and tired. It has be circling the internet for a few years now. For you to try and pass if off as news is a bit deceiving without a single source other than, "a teacher at a college." I understand, and appreciate the moral of the story, but can we please stop acting like this actually happened?

  5. It's funny how the conservative/Republican say the liberal/Democrats take everything, when no one has taken more from this economy than the Republicans themselves. They are called Robber Barons for a reason! They have stolen this country blind. The rich have taken from the poor by fomenting war and using the poor as fodder for their war machines, and when that was not enough they played fast and loose with the banking industry. There's no more efficient a way of moving the wealth of the nation, from the people of the nation, than by fomenting war and then – adding insult to injury – playing fast and loose with the banking system. This was done during both Bush administrations. During the Senior Bush administration we had Gulf War I and the Savings and Loan scandal. During the Junior Bush administration we had Gulf War II and the loose money lending scam, also known as "housing bubble" by the banks for home loans. The report card shows that only the rich are the ones that are not flunking out. Everyone else is now at the bottom of the class because the ones at the top *cheat, steal and lie*.

  6. What school, what professor, what semester? Is this real or just a story that is believable by us conservatives? If it is not real, shame on you for not making that clear. I am sick and tired of being manipulated by the media. Yes, you are the media too.

  7. #1: This is about Communism, not Socialism.
#2: Right now we have a situation where people are working hard, but only 1% are getting 90% of the fruits of that labor.
#3: If it were an explanation of capitalism, in a class of 100 students, 20 students would be at 65% or under, no matter how hard they studied. 70 students would be between 66 and 85. 9 students would be at 86 to 99. 1 student would be at 100. The important part is that the one student would be getting credit for all the work done by the other 99 students, regardless of how much effort they put in.

As for legislating people out of prosperity, nobody is proposing anything like that. You can't legislate anyone into prosperity by taking more from those who have little and throwing at those who already have too much of everyone else's money.

Everyone who works, receives .. something. Those who don't work or can't work, still have intrinsic worth. You can't grow the economy by throwing money at the wealthy and making poor people more poor. A tree will not bear more fruit by watering the roots and pruning the roots.

The wealthy can't get richer without first taking money from someone else.

People get richer by dividing up their wealth and investing in more employees when Demand for goods and services is high enough. Throwing money at the economic base end up creating wealth as that money works its way back to top. FDR realized this when he said he intended to put idle money, at the top, to work in the economy.

When 80% of the people realize that 1% of the people are getting the majority of the fruits of the labor of the 80%… and sit idly by and do not stand up for themselves is when the country will be in trouble.

    • This a terrible example, did that 1 student steal the knowledge from the other students? No, their studying didn't benefit him, he did his own studing, he's just better than everyone else in that class in X subject.

  8. The difference between socialism and communism is socialism the gov.takes from the wealthiest divides it even and keeps some and communism the gov. takes from the wealthiest and keeps it.

  9. Consistency is vital and it's unquestionably a typical test for many,Thanks for sharing a significant data. It's actual that the site is an incredible open door yet not all have the ability as you do.

  10. In fact, you cannot apply capitalistic rules on social society. This rule consisting of giving notes to students is something that triggers competition and leads naturally to capitalism. If you want to turn social, you have to find rules where you encourage students to help each other and that kind…

  11. Some anonymous essayist describes this scenario as representing socialism and Tea Party Tribune takes that at face value and posts it as if it were true?
This thing has been around for at least nine years. Earlier versions placed it at Texas Tech, but those specifics were removed when they could not be confirmed, so newer versions have the vaguer language. The fact-checking site Snopes calls it a "legend," and adds, "Some critics of this piece have maintained that a real economics professor would (or should) have understood that his scheme was actually more a demonstration of communism than of socialism, the latter being a system that advocates social ownership of production and distribution, not an equal distribution of resources to all citizens regardless of their efforts."
The business website Macrobusiness has this to say about the piece: "Taken to its conclusion, such a finding would presumably demonstrate that team sports could never be competitive, since each player gets the same result as the rest of the team regardless of how much effort they put in."

    • If you want to quote “Snopes” as a source of what is True or False. Is your 1st mistake. Do your research who Snopes is funded by and owned by. Then do more research. Source your info from somewhere reliable. After all that then come and nitpick my authors!
