My recent struggle with the politics of Brigham City has a history. I didn’t realize that until I researched past articles around subjects concerning that area. By and large I think it’s a wonderful place to live. A bit preachy, but the mountains are beautiful, and people are engaging. I can tell now, after reading my own articles that my problem with the place stems from one guy, the principal of an elementary school there.
This guy has embarked on a three year campaign to destroy my family. He did this because he almost got my youngest killed through his own stupidity. It was all downhill after that. The kids’ mother was called to the school so much I thought she was a substitute teacher. Kid takes a pencil, phone call! Kid forgets a coat, phone call. Little girl says she’s being bullied, bully a statement from her for the Child Protective Services!
All I did was shine a light on this man. He’s been glowing red ever since. Ted and I found a park there overrun with predators. Little Girls being lured there by “someone” after dark. Private conversations let us know that practically the whole town knew there was something amiss at the park, and that “something” was inexplicably linked to the school not four blocks away!
When it came out that my own granddaughter was being bullied into saying, and doing things she did not want to do this man immediately moved to squash her, and her family without one mention of the bullying, indeed, using the very bully herself to testify to the CPS! Now, I’m just a Simple Ol’ Boy From Austin, but did I miss something here?
He has one problem, I never quit. Where there’s smoke there’s fire and I smell smoke all over that school. If you take a special needs child out of special ed, throw her into a population she is not used to, and then brow beat her into a confession without council or the parent’s knowledge, you do not need to be in a position of power over ANY child. It’s as simple as that. People of Brigham City, WAKE UP!
