The Decline and Fall Of America

  • DrummerFrom the Mind of a Dumb ole Biker from Alvin, Texas. RIP America

So, today is Independence Day? Happy Fourth of July? Seriously think about that. What we should be doing is mourning today’s date. That’s right RIP! What used to be a great country is gone. The things that made us great are gone. One Nation under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All is all but gone.

In a land where nearly all the households across America have both parents working, if there are two parents anymore, they are up to their eyeballs in debt. Yes, in pursuit of the American Dream, we’ve lost all perspective. It’s become a game of keeping up with the Joneses, and the Joneses won! American society resembles Mexico now with billionaires on one end and the rest of us down at the SNAP office.

We’ve reversed the roles of parents and children allowing our kids to run homes! In our desire for them to have it better than us, we have give them all their little hearts could ask for! The ending result we now see, is a generation, or two, of spoiled ungrateful, godless, selfish, lazy, unlawful people, with no respect for authority, others, or even themselves. Tide Pod anyone?

In 1776 we may have declared our independence from England, but for the last several decades, we have sworn our allegiance to a nation and government that has made slaves of us all! Mr. Lincoln said we couldn’t do that anymore.

We have given up freedoms for promises of safety and security, while looking for Uncle Sam to provide for our future health and welfare!

Benjamin Franklin once said: “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

So much for freedom and independence! So much for Independence Day. RIP America.

But what do I know? What have I seen? Everyone knows I’m just a Dumb ole Biker from Alvin, Texas.

Thanks Michelle Emanuel, for parts of this message.
