Well, you gotta hand it to the establishment Republican leadership, and their obnoxious sense of entitlement, with ignorantly blaming The Tea Party for their dismal record these past few cycles to regain control of the U.S. Senate. How about we look at the facts, and then make a fair proposition for the man appropriately nicknamed “Turd Blossom”, presumably because Karl Rove is so full of you-know-what.

Establishment Republican efforts these past two cycles to regain control to the United States Senate have been incompetent, as we previously mentioned here a few weeks back. Rove and his buddy Sen. John Cornyn had a string of epic failures these last several years;

Because of the NRSC ineptitude to learn from the NRCC, they continued that same old, same old flat-world mindset and rolled out another roster of so-called “electable” establishment candidates for 2012 in red or battleground states: Tommy Thompson in Wisconsin, Rick Berg in North Dakota, Denny Rehberg in Montana, George Allen in Virginia, Connie Mack in Florida, Pete Hoekstra in Michigan, Heather Wilson in New Mexico (a candidate so flawed that even Rove stated under oath Wilson lied about her involvement in a U.S. Attorney firing), and former governor Linda Lingle in Hawaii. All of these establishment favorites lost – many badly for open seats. As a result of the grassroots Tea Party movement, we now have rising stars like Rand Paul of Kentucky, Marco Rubio of Florida, Mike Lee of Utah, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania – all of whom had to initially clear establishment-moderate-NRSC choices. They joined 2010 conservatives like Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rob Portman of Ohio, as there was inarguably a lot more triumphs in that cycle because of the Tea Party.

House earmark vigilante and social conservative Jeff Flake of Arizona won his open seat race in 2012. Flake’s fellow conservative Congressman, and Tea Party advocate, Tim Scott of South Carolina has been appointed to Jim DeMint’s seat as he now heads up The Heritage Foundation. Tea Party candidates Ted Cruz of Texas and Deb Fischer of Nebraska now join those ranks as underdogs who beat the establishment odds and won in 2012… does anyone else see a pattern of success here and an epic failure by the Republican establishment?

According to the Sunlight Foundation, [Rove's] Crossroads had a massive political war chest of $300 million but saw no more than 1.29% of its candidates win in 2012. Majority PAC, a liberal organization that supported Democratic candidates, saw a success rate of 87.88%. It had a mere $180 million.

Mark Levin properly called out Rove and his comrade’s meddling with “Get the hell off the stage already, will you pal?” and here for his lack of accountability, bizarre behavior, and narcissism. Rove’s credibility is certainly in question now, as Jeffrey Lord of The American Spectator brought to light, especially In light of past and recent deceptions by him;

There is concern that what Rove is seeking to do is build a Shadow Republican Party — a decidedly Establishment GOP. An Establishment GOP that is effectively built in the image of all those repeatedly losing presidential candidates, not to mention the Establishment losers supported by American Crossroads in recent elections. When in fact the Tea Party — and the conservative movement in general — is the only reason Republicans have been winning in the first place.

So it is very well established that Rove has 1) a lousy track record, 2) a megalomaniac complex that he cannot back up, and 3) can’t seem to get a consistent truth out there to defend either himself or the establishment failures.

Rove even continues to shamefully slander Christine O’Donnell for her grass roots victory against King Republican In Name Only (RINO) and career politician Mike Castle back in 2010, while still not taking any responsibility for his destructive words and ways again as noted below by FOX News’ Sean Hannity and here at the Tea Party Tribune;

Hannity responded [to Rove in 2010] by saying, “This is probably one of the few times we’re going to disagree here, because I’ve met her [O'Donnell], I’ve interviewed her a lot over the years, I’ve found her quite impressive, and more importantly, she is a solid conservative.”

So here’s the kicker for old Karl “Kickback” Rove. If he delusionally continues to self-appoint himself as kingmaker, and dare accuse the Conservative grass roots movement for establishment/moderate Republican failures, then we should be able to challenge Rove’s claim that he is a Crossroads “volunteer”. For an entity that raised $300+ Million, and in light of what we ALL know akin to Morton Blackwell’s article titled “The GOP’s Consultant Problem”, Rove get’s his money from somewhere as former New Gingrich aide Rick Tyler challenged recently to The Washington Post;

Tyler wrote. “I have no way of knowing if his assertion is true. Only Rove knows and given the responsibility he had with resources under his stewardship and that he was presented as an honest broker both on Fox News and The Wall Street Journal, he should provide some assurances that his assertion is true. We know that media buying precipitates commissions (kickbacks). Who got that money or where was it spent and why was it not disclosed?

Several experts noted that Rove could be a part-owner of one of the media or fundraising companies that were paid by Crossroads — what Tyler had called “kickbacks.” For instance, one company loosely linked to Rove’s old Texas firm received money from Crossroads, but we can find no financial connection between Rove and that firm today.

All U.S. Senate candidates have to file their full annual earnings/holdings with the Senate Select Committee on Ethics, and of course Presidential candidates have to file several years of tax returns for public disclosure. If we are to believe someone who has arguably sabotaged the GOP’s chances with his incompetence and ineffectiveness since 2004, and continues to wage war on the Tea Party/Conservative movement and all it stands for, is it too much to ask why won’t Rove show IRS filings and domestic/offshore bank accounts?

Yeah, yeah, one of Rove’s lackeys denied the kickbacks, but frankly these people lie before they are even vertical on a daily basis – that’s what they do for a living. As FOX News’ Bill O’Reilly concluded to O’Donnell, “The old boys don’t want to give up their power.”, to which she astutely added, “…they would rather control the way they lose than lose control of the party.”

In my humble opinion, even with a denial by Rove and his associates, the common thread seems to be Carl Forti of Black Rock Group, who many including Rove have called his protégé, or as Reuters reported here “Karl Rove’s Karl Rove.”

Forti ran Mitt Romney’s Restore Our Future PAC, and was also lead consultant for American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS as noted here. My educated guess is Rove may have gotten his money from Forti/Black Rock Group fees, which again as a 501(c)3 do not have to be disclosed. Forti is a known shell-game guy, and it should be fair game to question that, taking Tyler’s claim one logical step further as stated here;

Forti proposed a plan intended to evade contribution rules while also implementing a coordinated strategy. Black Rock would be used as a middleman, crafting a comprehensive game plan and then advising individual donors on how and where to spend their money.

Maybe this is all just as well, as Rove’s horrible track record continues to this day, so if FOX News is crazy enough to keep rolling Rove out and losing core viewers, we’ll gladly welcome them here and here as we continue to grow. Either way, we won’t give up the fight!

The Republican Party used to be proud of its “big tent” philosophy, but the establishment elite are now stating it is the conservative grassroots, the Tea Party, and Christine O’Donnell’s fault that the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) continued its horrible record in 2012 with more of the same failure under since-replaced Chairman Jon Cornyn’s leadership.

Watching moderate talking heads continue their scapegoating by alienating American activists that helped Republicans take back Congress in 2010 is not only naïve, but it’s also a certain recipe for continued decline. Mark Levin called out Rove and his comrade’s meddling with “Get the hell off the stage already, will you pal?” and again last week.  Rove’s credibility is certainly in question now, especially In light of past and recent statements by him.

The lessons learned by Chairman Pete Sessions and the National Republican Congressional Committee’s (NRCC) embarrassment from bucking the Tea Party trend beginning with the NY-23 race in 2009 were hard fought. The NRCC saw the light by embracing the conservative grassroots movement and not only resoundingly won back the House in 2010, but also maintained their margins in 2012 despite the Barack Obama get out the vote machine at the top of the ticket.

On the other hand, the NRSC surprisingly never thought they were going to win the Senate in 2010, as Cornyn told a Congressional Quarterly reporter months before the O’Donnell mid-September primary victory for the seat vacated by Joe Biden (who ran for reelection in 2008 as well as being on the Obama ticket) that he did not think Republicans would win enough seats to give them a majority.

O’Donnell observed the hypocrisy of the establishment on FOX News ‘The O’Reilly Factor:

“I had the audacity to challenge the system, and I busted up the backroom deal. There are still a lot of bruised egos and a ‘you’re taking the power out of our hands mentality.’ I think at least for the Republican leadership in Delaware [and nationally at the NRSC to date], they would rather control the way they lose than lose control.”

“You know the most frustrating part of all of that was if you asked people, ‘Did you watch the speeches? Did you watch the debate?’ and more often than not they said no.”

Fred Barnes of The Weekly Standard complimented O’Donnell’s campaign efforts by seeing for himself instead of letting others think for him:

“O’Donnell, it turns out, is an excellent campaigner, knowledgeable on issues and confident in making the case for conservative policies. She and Coons, 47 and balding, debated before the stuffy Wilmington Rotary Club the morning after the nationally televised CNN debate. In both sessions, she was the more assertive.

O’Donnell is the campaign here. She is colorful and outspoken and willing to attack her own party for giving her only minimal support after she upset Representative Mike Castle in the Republican primary in mid-September—all traits the press loves in a candidate. Castle, has none of them. Nor does Coons, who’s about as exciting as dry toast. Absent O’Donnell, the media wouldn’t be here.”

With all due respect to Mr. Castle and his accomplishments as a career politician, how is a mid-seventies Republican In Name Only (RINO) who lost to Ms. O’Donnell by over six points in his last campaign, and who would have also lost to Coons according to CNN exit polling, the answer? Especially in light of this Michelle Malkin post right after the primary “What Did Mike Castle talk about with Obama and Biden last night?”

As RedState Editor-in-Chief Erick Erickson reported in early August of 2010:

If Mike Castle becomes the next United States Senator from Delaware he is going to get sworn in, serve a bit, then become a Democrat, resign, and let Beau Biden get an appointment.

It’s a done deal. The deal has been made already. I’m hearing this not just from Christine O’Donnell people, but party regulars in Delaware, some of whom support Castle. It is insane.

Maybe that is why Mike Castle is running from Christine O’Donnell. He is afraid to have to answer questions about this. The man will not debate her to save his life.

In fact, Christine O’Donnell is actually ahead of the Democrat in the polls in Delaware. Read that sentence again people because too many of you think we must support Castle to win the seat.

Club for Growth Vice President Andrew Roth brilliantly summarized Castle’s status as a lead RINO, calling it “bullfeathers” to think otherwise of Castle, not only as a social liberal but also a fiscal moderate who voted for Cap & Trade in the House and was being counted on as another vote for the Democrats in the 2010 lame duck session.

Castle co-authored the grassroots gag order called The Disclose Act, had a pro-abortion record that even expanded to co-authoring the Castle-DeGette bill promoting human cloning, and had numerous other votes cited by Roth to truly earn his RINO crown. It’s a record that makes retired Olympia Snowe’s look Reaganesque by comparison.

It is an absurd notion that the U.S. Senate is some exclusive club, only fit for the “next in line” elite with their obnoxious sense of entitlement, when recent members include Al “Stuart Smiley” Franken of Minnesota, Larry “Wide-Stance” Craig of Idaho, and the Keating Five (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAzDEbVFcg8).

This was also debunked by a de facto leader of the Millennial vote Jon Stewart when discussing the O’Donnell candidacy:
“I was on MTV 20 years ago. God forbid anybody find those tapes and hold that against me. I mean, it is — it’s astonishing to me where we put our focus and what we delve into.”

Jeffrey Lord of The American Spectator summed it up this way:

“It must be said here that the reason Ms. O’Donnell is a “two-time loser” is that she had the guts to take on up-hill Senate races in the first place. Where was Mike Castle when it was time to challenge Democrat incumbent Senator Tom Carper in 2006? Where was Castle when it was time to challenge Biden in 2008 — when Biden was playing the Ruling Class game and had a ballot spot for both re-election to the Senate and on Obama’s ticket as vice president? Answer? Not running. Why? Because the man who so much wants to be a United States Senator from Delaware didn’t want to mar his reputation with a loss — thus enabling some Ruling Class writer to describe Castle as a “two-time statewide loser.” Such things are important in Ruling Class circles, and the fact that O’Donnell paid no heed and took on Delaware’s political goliaths Carper and Biden anyway is a sign of Country Class guts.”

The Delaware Republican Party delegates removed long-time Republican National Committeewoman Priscilla Rakestraw last year after realizing her and Castle’s failed leadership has led to a 120,000 Republican enrollment disadvantage (mostly in New Castle County, as Delaware only has two other counties – Kent & Sussex) since being par almost a decade ago when the more conservative Gov. Pete du Pont and Sen. Bill Roth influences left leadership posts in the party.

State enrollment is now approximately 300,000 (48%) Democrats, 180,000 (28%) Republicans, and 150,000 (24%) independents according to the latest Delaware Board of Elections survey, which makes O’Donnell’s results all the more impressive despite the lack of party support.

Establishment accusations are additionally unfounded in facts, as in July of 2010, Rasmussen had O’Donnell beating Coons, coupled with earlier polling strength including a late 2009 Rasmussen poll proving that O’Donnell had a 2-1 advantage with critical Delaware independents against the iconic Biden brand before the extraordinary libel and slander by the GOP establishment with other political science found at www.ChristinePAC.com/Christine-Counters.

The vicious attacks were so unprecedented even Neil King, Jr. of The Wall Street Journal wrote, “The National Republican Senatorial Committee is also piling on, briefing reporters on negative aspects of O’Donnell’s record.”

O’Donnell’s campaign also had to defend against a frivolous federal election complaint, filed before the primary by Michael Toner, the counsel of then NRSC Chairman Cornyn on behalf of since ousted Delaware Republican Chairman Tom Ross. It was later dismissed.

As FOX News’ Sean Hannity clarified after Castle blamed his loss to O’Donnell on talk radio, “He sounds like a liberal, blaming other people!”

Furthermore, in addition to coming to Delaware to campaign against O’Donnell, Obama called Castle after his primary loss and may have negotiated a deal not to run in a 3-way which clearly benefited Republican victors Rubio and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska in 2010. This obviously came at a critical time, as the September 14 primary victory and November 2 general election left essentially only a month to staff up and fight back against the Democratic machine without the benefit of a write-in.

O’Donnell’s team, despite a much publicized rebuke from the NRSC and Rove after her victory over Castle, tried desperately to get the relationship that evolved with the other conservative contenders who beat establishment candidates akin to Leader Mitch McConnell hammering Paul one day and putting his arm around him the next as the future junior Senator of Kentucky he became.

Her campaign even engaged Cornyn ad man Fred Davis (he of the China-girl Super Bowl spot that hurt Hoekstra’s chances early), who also created the “I’m not a witch, I’m nothing you’ve heard, I’m you…” ad for O’Donnell and put in dark after-effects and the like while not having any other commercial ready before a major media buy deadline – coincidence?

To add insult to injury, a former Biden staffer and Delaware native named Melanie Sloan, who runs a left-leaning group absurdly called Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (http://www.stopcrew.com/) that receives funding from liberal cause supporters like George Soros and Ted Gill, knowingly and illegally filed a false federal complaint with an admittedly perjured affidavit right after O’Donnell’s primary victory. Sloan also unethically failed to disclose that her father Leonard Togman, a known Democratic donor, was the adversely affected Delaware voter in the complaint.

That is sadly what the establishment of both parties does when they feel threatened – they engage in the politics of personal destruction with continued character assassinations. O’Donnell lawyer Cleta Mitchell explained on FOX News, “We are asking the IRS to revoke CREW’s tax exempt status because they’re not supposed to be involved in campaigns and they attack Republicans. They attacked Christine O’Donnell falsely. She’s been fully exonerated, and it’s time that CREW be held responsible and be held to be a political organization, which is what they really are.”

To echo Erickson’s sentiments in 2010 regarding O’Donnell, shame on Club for Growth President Chris Chocola for lumping O’Donnell in with the Todd Akin candidacy, while also apparently doing a major cover-his-behind with Club for Growth donors for some of his losses, although his anti-establishment message was spot on.

Shame on all those who do that. When the book is written on Election 2010, the media will mock the O’Donnell candidacy, but whether she wins or loses she will be a hero in my book.

Christine O’Donnell, willingly or not, has stood firm in the face of the media and establishment onslaught and distracted them all. And only now, with twenty-two days left, are the media and establishment turning in terror, to realize how close the midgets are to slaying the tigers.

Do not insult or belittle Christine O’Donnell here at RedState. Because of her, even if she cannot win, she has distracted the tigers long enough so that others can win. She is owed our thanks.”

When the conservative movement unites, they usually win with the exception in the Senate being the Nevada race in 2010 and the Indiana race in 2012. To be fair to former Club endorsed candidate Sharron Angle, she was going up against the incumbent Senate Democratic leader in Harry Reid who not only helped control the purse-strings for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, but also had a month of early voting to get out the labor vote and the like.

Richard Mourdock is the Club candidate that Chocola should be lamenting to his donors instead of ignorantly bashing O’Donnell, as Mourdock fell into the same trap as Akin had earlier in the cycle which cannot be excused. It is also somewhat sardonic that Chocola lost his last Congressional race to the candidate who beat Mourdock by not that different a margin than what O’Donnell lost by.

FOX News’ Bill O’Reilly crystallized a capsule summary of what happened in an interview with O’Donnell:
“But they didn’t go after Carly Fiorina the way they went after you. It was all personal. You’re this, you’re that, you know, and I’m going to myself, it was almost like Sarah Palin. It was almost the same thing. Why are they going after her? Why do they want to denigrate her personally? Why?” and added,“They don’t care. They just want to demean you.” O’Reilly concluded,“The old boys don’t want to give up their power.” with “I’m sorry you had to go through a lot of that garbage you went through.”

Maybe that is why O’Donnell is proud to be a part of Clinton Administration Ambassador Swanee Hunt and Mitt Romney former Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey’s bipartisan effort to end the double standard female candidates’ face globally (http://www.missrepresentation.org/politics/women-at-the-republican-national-convention/ & http://www.nameitchangeit.org/blog/entry/hardballs-chris-matthews-on-christine-odonnell-pretty-damn-sexist). With any luck, more people will have the courage to step up and join the political process to make our communities better.

In closing, Rush Limbaugh praised “Christine O’Donnell has moved the conservative ball forward.” and righteous dude Erickson echoed, “She is owed our thanks.”

“Please, I didn’t come to argue.”

That’s how Geraldo Rivera started his segment on Fox News Friday morning as the conversation turned to Libya. But while he may not have come to argue, that’s exactly what happened. And it was one of the most heated arguments in recent memory on the news network.

In short, Geraldo continued to trumpet his argument from last week that the U.S. military could not have done anything to save those attacked in Libya.

After fill-in host Eric Bolling suggested how disgraceful it was that the government did “nothing” to help the eventual victims, Geraldo wasn’t having any of it.

It’s an “obscene lie,” he said emphatically.

“You are a politician looking to make a political point!” he added after Bolling challenged him, later repeating the point: “You are misleading the American people because you want to make a political point.”

Geraldo was visibly disturbed, raising his finger and voice and even shaking. He even lightly chastised the father of slain former SEAL Tyrone Woods for attacking the president over the debacle. He even added that what Woods’s father was insinuating — that Obama went off to Las Vegas instead of trying to protect his son — was a “a lie.”

While visibly angry at the administration detractors, Geraldo did say that there was room for criticism, mainly regarding why we had our ambassador in Libya if we couldn’t protect him. He also said it’s “legitimate” to investigate whether the government covered up the “genesis” of the attack, referring to the YouTube video the administration blamed.

Eventually host Steve Doocy had to calm him down, resting his hands on Geraldo’s back and leg to ease him.

“Geraldo, we get where you’re coming from.”

But that wasn’t all. Gretchen Carlson went to tease an upcoming segment on immigrants and college and that’s when Geraldo threw all caution to the wind: “Oh great. Now they’re going to go get lynched.”

Courageous Activist’s Powerful Plea to Peers

Co-founder of Resistance 44, a network of over 6,000 young people dedicated to reaching their peers via social media, Justen Charters and former U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell (R-DE) have teamed up to make an exciting original music video, titled the “Six Trillion Dollar Man, That’s Obama Style”. The music video, shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEjnyMyJYTI, was made to help inform and empower a whole new generation of voters, while also helping educate others who heretofore have found the political process to be too mind-numbing.

Charters is currently under-employed and by all accounts, he should be an Obama supporter. Yet, it didn’t take long for Charters to become skeptical of all the things President Obama promised his demographic, and he then became politically active.

What is even more remarkable is that Charters was under a year ago not sure if he would make it to this election season (http://www.kptv.com/story/16584786/local-man-desperate-for-diagnosis – Hillsboro Man Desperate for Diagnosis), thus making his testament an even more powerful plea to his peers.

The song has the dual hope of not only influencing a new generation of voters with Millennials, but also to help raise funds to help him get properly diagnosed. The video has already gotten approximately 50,000 unique views without any celebrity pushes, which is a true testament to how well it is resonating with the grassroots.

Yesterday’s Huffington Post piece titled The Youth Vote: Déjà Vu All Over Again, which cites a study showing 2012 youth vote numbers will rank the second highest youth vote for a Democratic presidential candidate since 1980, is indeed Halloweenish.A recent article on PolicyMic, The GOP Will Win Over Millenials in 2012, concludes that: If the Republican Party is to have a successful future, I believe its biggest challenge will be reaching out to the millennial generation. Millennials are one of the largest age groups in America today*, numbering approximately 78 million, almost as many as the Baby Boomers (80 million) and 32 million more than Generation Xers (ages 30-45).

Ronald Reagan brought an entire generation of young voters into the Republican Party during the 1980s, which largely contributed to his landslide victories in 1980 and 1984. Ironically, he was one of the oldest and most conservative candidates of modern times, yet was able to tap into the 18- to 29-year old age group (Human Events, 8/22/07, Reagan’s Youth Appeal) as one of the greatest communicators of the 20th century.

Bottom-line is, Millennials have been hit worse by the Recession than any other age group, and Pres. Obama’s policies are crippling their future. Fully 37% of Millennials are unemployed or underemployed, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics earlier this year.

Australian Prime Minister does it again. This woman should be appointed Queen of the World.. Truer words have never been spoken.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard- Australia:

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques.

PHOENIX – Phoenix officials are considering issuing city identification cards to immigrants in response to persistent concerns brought on by Arizona’s immigration law.

In a memo from October 2 , Councilman Michael Nowakowski said he would like to explore the creation of city-issued IDs for immigrants that have a Mexican Matricula card or equivalent foreign identification, but not a valid form of state ID.

Nowakowski specifically cites “a new hurdle as our police department integrates section 2(b) of Senate Bill 1070″ as a reason for the new cards.

Obama’s Second Term Transformation Plans

The 2012 election has often been described as the most pivotal since 1860.This statement is not hyperbole.  If Barack Obama is re-elected, the United States will never be the same, nor will it be able to re-capture its once lofty status as the most dominant nation in the history of mankind.

The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama’s first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of “transforming America” in his second term, regardless of which political party controls Congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders.

The most significant accomplishment of Obama’s first term was to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.

During the first two years of the Obama administration, when the Democrats overwhelming controlled both Houses of Congress and the media was in an Obama worshiping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the executive branch.

The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they, and not Congress, would subsequently write.

For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare, there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services.  There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they “shall” do something and more than 200 times when they “may” take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the “Secretary determines.” In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans, once ObamaCare is fully operational, in 2014.

The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act, which confers nearly unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation’s financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by Congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation… all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the executive branch, controlled by Barack Obama and his radical associates.

Additionally, the Obama administration has, through its unilaterally determined rule making and regulatory powers, created laws out of whole cloth. The Environmental Protection Agency on a near daily basis issues new regulations clearly out of their purview in order to modify and change environmental laws previously passed and to impose a radical green agenda never approved by Congress. The same is true of the Energy and Interior Departments among many others.

None of these extra-constitutional actions have been challenged by Congress. The left in America knows this usurpation of power is nearly impossible to reverse, unless stopped in its early stages.

It is clearly the mindset of this administration and its appointees that Congress is merely a nuisance and can be ignored after they were able to take full advantage of the useful idiots in the Democrat controlled House and Senate in 2009-2010 and the Democrat Senate in the current Congress.

Additionally, Barack Obama knows after his re-election a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them. His veto will not be overridden as there will always be at least 145 Democratic members of the House or 34 in the Senate in agreement with, or intimidated by, an administration more than willing to use Chicago style political tactics.

The stalemate between the Executive and Legislative Branches will inure to the benefit of Barack Obama and his fellow leftists.

The most significant power Congress has is the control of the purse-strings as all spending must be approved by them. However, once re-elected, Barack Obama, as confirmed by his willingness to do or say anything and his unscrupulous re-election tactics, would not only threaten government shutdowns but would deliberately withhold payments to those dependent on government support as a means of intimidating and forcing a Republican controlled Congress to surrender to his demands, thus neutering their ability to control the administration through spending constraints.

Further, this administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g. the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by Congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election.

Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people.

Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. THAT’S ABSURD!!!  That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated. The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism.  Judging by his actions, words and deeds during his first term, he does not intend to work with Congress, either Republican or Democrat, in his second term, but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted.

The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the founders in the hope that over the years only those people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other.

What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the pre-eminent governmental branch, the Congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity, coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores them.

Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party and Mitt Romney must come to grips with this moment in time and their historical role in denying Barack Obama and his minions their ultimate goal. All resources must be directed at that end-game and not merely controlling Congress and the various committee chairmanships.

If you don’t want to take a shower after hearing that reporter ask that question, then listen again.

First, the reporter reduces an entire population to its skin color. Patronizing and infantilizing.

Second, the reporter gives oxygen to the idea that people can only be represented by people of the same skin color. Racist. Racialist. An idea that was rejected a long, long time ago . . . or so we thought.

Third, the reporter defiles the entire notion of how America is supposed to operate: The president is supposed to represent everyone. Every elected official is. Yes, Woodrow Wilson and Lyndon Johnson were inveterate racists. But Lincoln wasn’t. Reagan wasn’t.

Fourth, this is a vile attack on Mitt Romney, and an attempt to raise black Democrat voter enthusiasm, all rolled into one disgusting question. So, you’re a rich white dude—how can you represent anyone who isn’t a rich white dude? Look, black Democrat voters, LOOK! He’s WHITE!!! 

Eww.

This is insulting to blacks. It’s insulting to whites. It’s insulting to Romney, and it’s insulting to America. It’s a disgusting attack—an intentional dog-whistle media ploy—that should get the reporter fired. But since he probably pre-planned the question ahead of time with higher-ups at CNN, firing seems unlikely.

Romney handled it fine. He took the safe route, and his response was decent and calm.

Me, I would not have taken the safe route. I would have stopped, looked right at the reporter, and said,

“Did you really just ask me that? No, wait, before you answer, let me ask you a different question. You’re white, right? So, how do you assure your black viewers that you represent them when you report the news?

The report additionally points out another trend in which the number of U.S. residents not paying federal-income tax rose from 12% in 1969 to 49.5% in 2009. This means that 152 million Americans paid no federal-income tax in 2009! That figure must be over 50% today – people who, as Vice President Joe Biden likes to say, ‘have no skin in the game’. As he has also said, ‘This is a big [expletive] deal’ and we are currently enslaving our future generations to big government and disastrous deficit spending.
