Christian Who Refuses to Pay Taxes Over Abortion Wins Major Court Victory

A Christian locked in a court battle with the Internal Revenue Service for his opposition on taxpayer-funded abortions has received a major victory. 

Iowa Senate passes bill banning abortions once heartbeat is detected

Senate File 2281 passed the chamber on a 30-20 vote, and now heads to the Iowa House where Republicans hold a 59-41 majority. If passed, Iowa would be the first state to implement heartbeat legislation, effectively banning most abortions.

Planned Parenthood sues David Daleiden, university to stop data release

Planned Parenthood filed a federal lawsuit against the University of Washington and pro-life activist David Daleiden to halt the release of public documents. Mr. Daleiden, who spearheaded the undercover Center for Medical Progress video series, made the public records request in February for documents detailing transactions between the university’s Birth Defects Research Center and Planned Parenthood.
